Unforgettable days

It was great to spend a week in Israel, even though I had already been there, every time I set foot on this Wonderful Land, I am renewed. I think Israel has great value to God, so when I am there I am able to feel His love for those who do not know Him yet…

We stayed in the Kibbutz community, where its first residents sold everything they owned to build and live there among one another. They shared the same kitchen, the profits of the land, etc… for a while, it’s as though everyone lived in the same house. According to our guide, Salo Kapusta, “it was not easy!”

You may be wondering why someone would choose to live in such conditions, but the answer is very simple. In a land where most people did not believe in Jesus, these Messianic Jews needed each other’s support. They built a church and a community where they would not be ridiculed and discriminated because they believed the Messiah had already come.

They are Jewish Christians who truly love Jesus. Some of the women and youths from Kibbutz sang praises in Hebrew for our entire group when we arrived the first day in Israel. They sang and played instruments with great kindness, but when they saw us singing along with them, their eyes filled with tears because they hardly ever see so many people praise Jesus in one place.

How sad is that? Because we see this every day at the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God, we don’t appreciate it enough.

This was one of the things that most caught my attention. The Jews are very grateful when people show appreciation for their land. Many people did not know we were Christian women, but admired us from afar… some would come near our groups and ask, ‘who are you?’

It was a tremendous difference. The Sisterhood and V-Woman groups in Israel were like the salt mentioned by Jesus in one of His parables. The joy, kindness, harmony, love, thoughtfulness, obedience, humbleness, strength, and faith were stamped onto the group. Everyone was delighted by our presence… how wonderful! Jesus was glorified by women who came from different parts of the world, women like any other women, the only difference is that these women are filled with the Holy Spirit.

There were one hundred women in the group, with various ages. It was very cold, but the heat we carried inside made the trip unforgettable.

I’ll be writing more about what God revealed to us in the following days…

Isaiah 10,11,12 and 13

    Hi Mrs. Cris,

Thank you so much for sharing this with us and I agree with you. This trip brought a great transformation in my life. Every day God spoke to me strongly and I am renewed.

I praise God for the opportunity He gave me to go to the Holy land and experience His power in my life. I will also be sharing what God revealed to me with the Sisterhood here in Namibia and as well those around me.

    Kisses,
    Selma

Their passion for Jesus is so inspiring and contagious, and they way they become emotional and are touched by those who have the same faith, makes us realize just how privileged we are to be able to express our faith so freely. Indeed, we shouldn’t take that privilege for granted.

I will definitely be following your posts, because I want to read more about the experiences you had in Israel. I can’t wait! God bless!

It was an honour to be part of this trip and from the moment I got off the place in Tel Aviv, a great peace came upon me. It was not a feeling, but it was something I had never experienced before. It was like I had entered a new world, no stress, no worries.

I was also captured by the love the guides had towards their home land. Their passion for Israel and our Lord was evident when they spoke. They did not just pass on information to us, but life and spirit and that was a testimony for me. The same zeal they had for the country, is the same zeal I must have for the things of God.

Not only did we learn from them, but they learned from us. The perfume of Jesus was spread all over Jerusalem that week. I am sure of that.
